Sleepytot Take Distribution Back in House

Following the success of their trade website and the continued growth of the company, Sleepytot have take distribution of Sleepytot products back in house and will now be servicing all independent trade accounts and wholesale suppliers directly.

Sleepytot's Baby Sleep CD Wins Award

Sleepytot Baby’s Sea Shore has won a Silver Award by the Bizzie Baby reviews website (www.bizziebaby.co.uk). The CD was given the award after receiving high ratings by parents.
The CD runs for 90 minutes and is designed for babies aged 0-6 months. It replicates sounds heard by a baby in the womb by playing a loop of heartbeats merged with sounds of the sea.
Creator Lucy Fitzgerald, who is behind the Sleepytot range, recorded the wave sounds at her local beach in Appledore, Devon. The heartbeats were added professionally by a nearby recording studio.
As far as she knows, the CD is unique. “I found CDs that played either heartbeats or sea sounds, but not the two together – which is more similar to the swishing and bu-dums that would be heard in the womb.”
After testing it on her baby son, mother-of-two Lucy added the CD to her range of Sleepytot baby sleep aids.
It is now stocked by more than 100 retailers nationally, and is sold through the Sleepytot website at www.sleepytot.com. The RRP is £7.99

Weybury Hildreth (WHL) have made a fantastic start on the distribution of our baby comforter range to the nursery trade in the past few months. We entered into a distribution partnership with WHL in March 2010, and are delighted with the progress made.

Co-founder of Sleepytot, Lucy Fitzgerald, has been invited by the South West's leading pregnancy and child magazine, Bump to Baby, to be their baby and child sleep expert.
The magazine is distributed quarterly to doctors surgeries, Sure Start, maternity retailers and to subscribers. Sleepytot wil be providing advice on baby and child sleep through question and answer discussions, articles and features.
This is excellent exposure for Sleepytot products, increasing the credibility and awareness of the Sleepytot brand.

Sleepytot is more than just a baby comforter. Its clever paws mean a little imagination can make it into baby’s first and favourite toy, as well as the ultimate sleep aid. We know of little ones who add their linkies to the paws as well as hair bobbles, crinkly blankies and even little rattles.
