He goes in the dogs water bowl and then the washer and the dryer so can be very quickly refreshed! “I just wanted to email and let you know how brilliant I think the sleepytot is. My son sleeps with it every night and takes it for his sleeps during the day, he was an awful sleeper and now sleepytot is a real comfort to him and he sleeps great. I have bought many baby products which were a total waste of money but your product is the best thing i have ever nought. I recently went to stay with my mum for 3 nights and forgot sleepytot, which resulted in jack not sleeping very well :-( he would not settle and really missed it, it is a shame it is not available in any shops in Northern Ireland or i would have been straight out to buy another one. It has made me think about buying a spare as i do not want to have to cope without sleepytot again or the lack of sleep.
“The new design Sleepytot is made of a slightly different material. It is a lighter colour - paler, plus it is softer than the original. It's also machine washable - which is a must! The shape of the velcro dummy hand attachments has been revised, it enables dummies to go on easier and when fastened is more snug. My daughter loves her Sleepytot. She goes to bed with a dummy and her Sleepytot (with 4 dummies attached). She almost always throws her dummy out in favour of her the dummies attached to her Sleepytot. She is now 8 months old. We have had the Sleepytot for about a month and a half - why oh why did I wait so long! I used to get up to replace her dummy 5 times a night. Now (if at all) I get up once. What a fab invention. “This time last week me and my husband were so tired it was unbearable, especially as we both work full time. Our son woke at least four times each night, albeit only for his dummy, but our sleep was disrupted nonetheless and often we were unable to nod back off again! I learnt of Sleepytots through the Babycentre website and ordered one straight away! On Thursday it arrived, we waited until Friday to use it and by last night (Sunday) we all had a good nights sleep. “Emma - the eldest - did not sleep through the night until she was 19 months old due in part to the nightly lost dummy trauma and I was living in fear of a repeat performance with Matilda. I had sworn blind we weren't going to go down the dummy route again but in the end I caved in and gave Matilda a dummy... thus sentencing myself to night after night of 'plugging' the dummy back in... that is until I stumbled across a vague reference to the Sleepytot on some random forum (I searched many, many, many forums for ideas to get rid/solve the dummy problem). I have to say the Sleeptot was significantly bigger than I was expecting but that didn't seem to bother Matilda at all - she was an instant fan of his ears. Until I was sure that Matilda could move Christoph if he ended up on her face in the night he was a constant companion during the daytime so she got used to him and learnt to put the dummy back herself. As soon as she was big enough to move things off her face (about the 6 month mark) he became her bed companion and we haven't looked back. No more getting up in the night to give the dummy back and she's happy as a happy thing with his soft ears, squishy body and dummy on every leg. The only downside we've found with Christoph is that when Matilda wakes up at 5am (as she does almost every morning) ready to start the day she has discovered that if she bashes him along the side of her cot-bed the noise of the multiple dummies rattling on the bars is a very effective way of getting her parents up!
